Milka Forcan was born in 1969 in Belgrade. She graduated at the University of Belgrade, School of Economics.
Milka Forcan has been working with Delta Holding for eighteen years. During her career in the company she has held different senior management positions ranging from international sales and finance to marketing and public relations. In 2003 she became Vice President of Delta Holding.
From 2004 until 2011 she was a President of the Board of Jugohemija, the second largest wholesaler of pharmaceutical products in Serbia.
In 2008 she set up International Relations Department. Since founding the Department she has been particularly active in promoting Delta Holding and Serbian business in major economic and political events and forums such as World Economic Forum (Davos), the European Business Summit (Brussels), the Balkans Business Summit (Brussels), Friends of Europe (Brussels) and many others. One of the first initiatives was a first ever meeting of Serbian business leaders and EU stakeholders in Brussels. The event was opened by European Commissioner for Enlargement Olli Rehn and brought together CEO’s of leading Serbian companies with representatives of the EU institutions and business community for a roundtable discussion on Serbian business and EU integration.
Since 2009, Milka Forcan has been a member of Business Advisory Council for South East Europe, international business forum with objective to support European integration process for all the countries in the region.
She has held a number of lectures in Economic Faculty, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Organizational science and Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Nis, as well as at the London School of PR in Belgrade.
In 1998 Milka Forcan was awarded for public representation of her company by the Yugoslav PR Professionals Association and again in 2001 for institutional PR. In 2005 the PR Business School in Belgrade awarded her a prestigious “Be good and show it to others” diploma. In 2007 she was rewarded by Public Relation Association of Serbia for exceptional personal contribution in the field of public communication. The same year, Milka Forcan was awarded as a Marketing personality of the year, honored by the Magazine Taboo. Milka Forcan is one of the founders of the PR Society of Serbia.
Delta Holding has experienced many years of continuous growth and international success and in the process has become one of the largest privately held companies in South East Europe. Milka Forcan can say with confidence and pride that she has been one of the key contributors to this extraordinary success story. This was recognized by the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce in 2005, when she was given the prestigious award Manager of the Year.
In May 2010, Milka Forcan left Delta company, and focused her professional activities on business and policy consulting and lobbying.
Serbian Society of Lobbyists named her as the representative for the European Union. Milka Forcan is in the Editorial board of the scientific magazine "Challenges of the European Union" published by Official Gazzete.
In May 2011, Milka Forcan became a member of the Executive Board of the Union of Tennis Professionals of Serbia.
